The elevation in the Grand Canyon area ranges from about 2000 feet (760m) at the bottom of the canyon to over 8000 feet (2440m) on the rim, and a variety of weather conditions are possible. Your best bet is to bring layers of clothing.

Las Vegas weather will beckon you to go play outside. With more than 300 days of sunshine every year, the odds that weather in Las Vegas will be great are in your favor. At 2000 feet elevation, Las Vegas’ weather makes this a great place to visit all year-round. The winter season can be cold in the mornings and evenings and layered clothing is recommended.
