This tour is well worth it for outdoor enthusiasts, desert lovers, and closet geologists. The views are fantastic. The colors POP. Our driver made sure to have plenty of water for everyone. The drive in/out of Vegas is a little noisy, but that's to be expected. Bring sunscreen. You find yourself re-applying it. There is very little walking involved. The seats are ... ok.. 4 hours is about right for them. The off-roading part is a little hard, but only lasts about 7 minutes. All in all, it's a great way to get away from the smell,noise, and hustle of the Strip.

Enjoyed the various sights. I was glad we could get out and get pictures at different points. When we stopped for our guide to point something out, he made sure to stop in the shade (it was 98°!) or turn the jeep to give us a better view. This tour was one of the best I have ever experienced. Faythe was incredibly knowledgeable and extremely patient in allowing us to explore and take all the pictures from every angle we wanted. The only downside was not receiving my own lunch. But Faythe and the other patrons were kind enough to share theirs to ensure I did not go hungry in the heat.

Overall, our tour was great and Faythe was awesome! She was patient to our group’s needs, entertaining, and very knowledgable on Valley of Fire and Vegas. Also, since it was my first time in Vegas, she recommended things to do, good food and drinks, and helpful tips. However, the tour did not have everything it promised (a.k.a. lunch)! Our group was shorted lunches so the few sandwiches that were provided we split in pieces which was not fulfilling or appetizing. If I can be refunded for the lunch part of the tour, that would be great.

What surprised me most was how much I enjoyed the journey getting there. Driving through the forest, spotting wildlife along the way, and even dodging a couple quick rain showers made it feel like a little adventure before we even reached the canyon. Jared made the whole experience fun and easy, and by the time we got to the views, it felt like we’d already had a full day. It was definitely more than just stops along the way. The entire day was an adventure!
