This was our 1st visit to the Grand Canyon, we weren’t exactly sure what to do to see the sights. We looked at the different tours available and a Pink Jeep just seemed interesting all by itself! We were greeted by Brad at the registration counter who was more than helpful. He was happy to answer our questions, and we had many! Richard was our tour guide. We were very fortunate that the weather was very cool, and the time of year as the crowds were gone, so we ended up having the Jeep and Richard all to ourselves. I suggested to Richard that I was scared of heights. He immediately began working on my mindset by suggesting I had a concern with heights. Richard asked if we were ready for some adventure when we boarded, I wasn’t sure what that meant but we said yes. The next 3 hours were amazing, humbling and rewarding. Richard took us through the tour explaining the history of the Canyon and it was very apparent that he had a personal connection to Canyon. Our adventure tour took us to many of the lookout points but it was at those points where we took a few extra steps beyond the parking lot that stretched my “concern”. Richard was very aware of this and was able to calm my nerves to allow me to enjoy the moments and the beauty of the Canyon. Over the course of the tour we told stories, shared laughter and quiet moments absorbing the vastness of this place. The experience we had with Pink Jeep tours was something we’ll never forget! The customer service commitment from Brad and Richard was exceptional and we feel we would have missed something in our visit if we had not taken the tour. Visiting a place like the Grand Canyon was awe inspiring all on its own. Having a short amount of time with two gentlemen who truly have a connection to the place was something that will always be a part of our story when we’re asked about our Grand Canyon visit. Thank you Brad, Richard and Pink Jeep!
Our tour guide Rob took us to great look out points and provided us with the time to take images.
