You'll make several stops along the South Rim where the scenery changes with the weather and time of day, ensuring that you never see the same view twice. Learn about plants, animals, geology and how the canyon was formed while traveling to Yavapai Point. Your guide will bring the history of the Grand Canyon to life with tales of its native peoples, adventurous explorers and early tourists.
Enjoy the canyon breeze as you ride along Desert View Drive in an open-air Jeep Wrangler to Navajo Point. At an elevation of 7,500 feet, Navajo Point is the highest overlook along the South Rim of the Grand Canyon. Enjoy epic panoramic vistas to the west and a great view of the Desert View Watchtower
Peer below to see the Colorado River rapids, trails and buttes while your guide explains their significance. If you’re looking for a quiet moment to reflect, linger here while overlooking the tilted canyon layers of the Supergroup. This formation is only visible from a few areas of the South Rim.
Be sure to capture photos of the Desert View Watchtower to the east and towering rock spires against the sky.
The IMAX Movie* may be viewed either before or after your tour. Showtimes are hourly, at half-past the hour. Re-entry to the Grand Canyon National Park requires the purchase of a park pass.

Loved the tour. It was a phenomenal area and Davis was filled with great facts and stories
It was a fantastic tour and we appreciated the information and conversation from our guide!
Vehicle was clean and David was informative. You could tell he loves his job which made the experience even more enjoyable
The tour went to all the sites we wanted to see. Rob was very knowledgeable about each location and answered everyone’s questions.
Great tour! Would do in other cities, in fact, we had before. It’s fun, weather was great, and we felt safe with our guide! Rob also took pics, gave us good info and was a natural conversationalist. He also gave us recommendations and info on other national parks he had gone to and his own experiences so we can decide if those were places we wanted to visit (we had asked him). Great guy! Oh, yes, one thing is if we had just a few more min at the stop with the tower. More stuff to do there and we didn’t get to see everything in both shops and check out the tower up close. 25 min goes by fast! It was also under construction so I think that impacted our time to get around quickly.
amazing views, great information from the guide.
Rob kept us entertained and informed during our entire tour with his witty sense of humor and endless knowledge of the Grand Canyon. The 3 hours went by so fast! The stops were amazing and breathtaking.
It was my first time seeing the Grand Canyon so I truly didn’t know what to expect, so I decided to try this tour. It was amazing, the views, the guide, the jeep and the group was all so perfect! Nothing too adrenaline, but if you want to take some cool photos and see some cool places, definitely go with them!
