We typically recruit for Tour Guides once a year. We begin in November with job advertising, and review and interview candidates through December. Our new Tour Guides typically start in mid–January. We encourage anyone interested in becoming a Guide to review the job description below and check back periodically to see when we have activated the position and are accepting applications.
This is a position focused on customer service and selling FUN! Customer Service Representatives will sell various tour options with walk-in customers while maintaining a high degree of fun, integrity and professionalism. CSR’s are responsible for selling tours, checking in customers, processing payments, and directing customers to the passenger pickup area. The CSR works closely with the Guide and Service Center teams to ensure a great tour experience and to address any issues that arise.
The Shuttle Driver position is focused on providing excellent customer satisfaction in a dynamic tourism environment. The Shuttle Driver will safely provide transportation to and from Sedona resorts to the Pink Jeep Plaza for customers taking a tour. This position will also be responsible for miscellaneous office errands and general assistance to internal staff, including managers, Service Center, Reservations, Guides, Cafe and Store. All candidates must pass all the pre-employment requirements which include: a DOT physical, drug screen, and you must also present a clean driver’s record from the DMV. Due to the safety sensitive position as a driver, we are not able to accept applications from registered medical marijuana card holders, and for insurance purposes all applicants must be at least 25 years old.

As a Guide you ensure the safety and comfort of the guest while delivering educational information about flora, fauna and cultural resources. We typically only recruit for guides once a year. The recruitment process starts with a phone interview followed by one or several in-person interviews. All candidates must pass all the pre-employment requirements which include: a physical, drug screen and you must also present a clean driver’s record from the DMV. Due to the safety sensitive position as a driver, we are not able to accept applications from registered medical marijuana card holders, and for insurance purposes all applicants must be at least 25 years old.
As a newly hired guide you start with 5-6 weeks of training. Our training modules are interactive and the training period is very intense. You will partake in traditional classroom time, field time, driver training including SMITH driving principles, and practice time behind the wheel. If you are not already First Aid/ CPR certified we will make sure you get that certification as well!
A Tour Guide provides a fun and educational tour. They provide for the comfort and safety of the customer while delivering information on natural and cultural resources in a meaningful way. They are safety minded, inspecting and operating their Jeeps on the highways and Forest Service roads in compliance with all Laws, Regulations, and Company Policies and Procedures.
