Enjoy scenic views as you ride in a Jeep® on a Grand Canyon South Rim Tour. Stop at Yavapai Point for your first amazing view of the Grand Canyon. See rocks eroded away to reveal layers created by eons of sediment. From the overlook, you’ll notice Phantom Ranch and Bright Angel trails. Your certified tour guide, who is also a Wilderness First Responder, will tell you the history of the Canyon.
Grab a photo op at Grand Canyon Village. This historic district was once a stop for stagecoaches and remains a busy hub today. The village is home to El Tovar and Hopi House, both opened in 1905. Extraordinary views surround you as you stand where pioneers walked centuries ago.
Continue your South Rim Jeep® tour to Hermits Rest with scenic views at every turn. The area has fewer crowds due to limited access Mar. - Nov.
Next you'll enjoy a Grand Canyon hiking tour at Hermit Trail. Your guide will lead you down the trail for a fun hike below the rim on a rocky, unmaintained path to view the wonders below. You'll see fossil beds and learn about the Grand Canyon’s geology. The hike is 1 mile roundtrip with steep decline and inclines.
Price includes Grand Canyon National Park admission fees and free tickets to the IMAX movie Grand Canyon: The Hidden Secrets.
IMAX Movie is viewed either before or after your Jeep tour, your choice. Show times are hourly at half-past the hour. Grand Canyon National Park re-entry requires the purchase of a park pass.

The tour was great and provided an easy way to see the sights
We enjoyed the tour very much. It was great to have the opportunity to "trek" below the rim of the Canyon. We are in pretty good shape for "seniors" but still we are older (69) and slower than many. The guide was patient and we never felt rushed. The guide made an effort to help us get memorable pictures and ones that we otherwise would not have had. It was a fun experience.
We didn't think that finding the pink jeep office that easy - we spotted the pink jeeps (not a problem) but then drove around the Imax thinking the pink jeep office must be somewhere else. We asked someone who told us to go inside the imax and we then managed to find the pink jeep counter. We wanted to confirm that we would be picked up from our hotel (which is what we had asked for on booking). This was confirmed for us and the trip was great thereafter. Perhaps to improve the service for pre-booked trips you could send an email 24/48 hours before the trip to confirm pick-up location and time of pickup plus anything else that you need for the trip. We had booked our trip some months before and we wanted to make sure that our understanding of the final details was right, but found locating the office difficult.
Not tour's fault. Two people were not ready/ on time for start. They requested pick up at their hotel. Tour guide & jeep were there on time 8:30. We waited 15 minutes for them and then left.
It was awesome. William was great and a perfect atch for our family. My kids are very adventurous and me (mom!) not so much and afraid of heights! William took the time to take us down into the Canyon so that I felt safe and the kids were having a great time. Two thumbs up all around!!
Excellent. Rich providing really some life changing perspective to my 10 year old son.
The tour was great and our guide Tyler was exceptional
At the beginning I nearly fell asleep, but when the walk through the canyon started and William started to tell his story we were totally blown away
