Tour Details

If you’re seeking a family-friendly Pink Jeep® experience without the off-road bumps, the Scenic Sedona: State Park Loop tour is right for you. This mild, all-pavement excursion features a visit to Red Rock State Park, short walks near the banks of Oak Creek, panoramic views of Cathedral Rock and more!

Your trip begins at the Pink Jeep Tours Plaza. After a quick overview, you’ll hop aboard an open-air Jeep® Wrangler, designed to give you an immersive experience with unobstructed views. This custom-built vehicle will be piloted by your own Certified Interpretive Guide who will take you on a two-hour tour of the area.

As you depart Uptown, your guide will share stories about Sedona’s rich history and early pioneers, its role as a film mecca for Hollywood Westerns, and iconic rock formations such as Snoopy Rock. Passing through West Sedona, you’ll see Thunder Mountain, Coffee Pot Rock, Chimney Rock and more.

Soon, you're winding along the Red Rock Loop Road Scenic Drive, where stunning views of Sedona’s ancient landscape are unveiled around every bend. You’ll stop and explore Red Rock State Park, a 286-acre nature preserve and environmental education center.

Your guide will lead you on short hikes through manzanita and juniper trees to the rich banks of Oak Creek. Green meadows are framed by native vegetation and surrounded by red rock hills. You’ll learn about riparian habitats, plants and animals, ancient rock art and native cultures. The Visitor Center features a film, educational exhibits and gift shop.

Afterwards, a stop at the famous Lover's Knoll, or “The Knoll” as locals call it, puts the entire panorama of Sedona's world-class views on display. Cathedral Rock rises to greet you flanked by Twin Buttes, Schnebly Hill, Lee Mountain and Courthouse Butte.

This all-pavement tour is a great option for those not wanting the bumpy ruts and rocks of a 4x4 off-road excursion. More time is spent outside the jeep with short hikes and views of Oak Creek. During your return to Uptown, you’ll learn about Pink’s remarkable 60-year history and how Pink and Sedona have become synonymous around the world.
