Visitors Can Now Monitor the Mountain Flora to Plan Their Perfect Tour
Gatlinburg, TN (April 1, 2021) – PINK® Adventure Tours announced today that it will begin tracking the ever-changing flora of the Smoky Mountains in the spring via its new “Bloom-ometer” online tool. One of the best times to visit the Smoky Mountains, the company is looking to aid visitors and locals alike in booking their ideal seasonal visit. The tool will allow prospective guests to know exactly when their favorite wildflower will be showing its colors and what tours are recommended for the best views.
Those that visit the Bloom-ometer prior to their visit will be met with information on the native flora of different parts of the Smokies – from Gatlinburg to Newfound Gap and Foothills Parkway. The site also indicates wildflower bloom timing by month, to help visitors plan ahead and determine a preferred timeframe for their visit.
“Not only do we encourage outdoor adventures through our tours, but we have a deep passion for the lands and natural habitats that we explore every day, and we set out with every tour to instill that same appreciation in our guests,” said John Fitzgibbons III, President of Pink Adventure Tours. “We launched the Bloom-ometer for visitors to see what wildflowers our Smoky Mountains tours have to offer before their visit and have the opportunity to personalize their trip based on their interests and desired experience.”
The adventure tourism company is encouraging visitors and locals alike to snap their own photos of Smoky Mountain wildflowers and tag @PinkJeepTours on Instagram for a chance to be featured on the page and website.
Those interested in keeping up with Smoky Mountains’ spring blooms and booking a COVID-safe tour to see them live today can follow the Bloom-ometer throughout the season.
