Lace-up your boots for a different kind of off-road adventure—hiking Sedona Red Rocks. Our local adventure guides will lead you along the nooks and crannies of red dirt trails to mesmerizing views.
You'll gear up for your trek at the Pink Jeep Plaza in Uptown Sedona. Your guide will discuss the trail options based on guests’ interests and comfort levels. The trail selected will suit the entire group, current weather and trail conditions.
Top-rated and jaw-dropping options include the Cow Pies, Deadmans Pass, Doe Mountain and Brins Mesa. Then it’s off to the trailhead in an open-air Pink Jeep Wrangler, as you learn about Sedona’s history, legends and folklore.
Sense Sedona’s vortex energy at the Cow Pies, circular rock formations in Bear Wallow Canyon seen in many Hollywood Westerns. Deadmans Pass sounds intimidating but it’s an easy hike for all skill levels and features wilderness canyon views. Doe Mountain Trail leads to a flat mesa overlooking the valley with views of Sedona’s landmark rock formations. Brins Mesa is a gem of a hike in Sedona’s Red Rock-Secret Mountain Wilderness that crisscrosses a dry creek bed.
As you hike, your Certified Interpretive Guide will share facts about the desert plants, wildlife and topography. This is one of the best hiking tours in Sedona and the only one that includes a ride in a Pink Jeep Wrangler!

It was great! We really enjoyed ourselves.
Scott was fantastic. He made sure we were comfortable with the hike level he took us on. He had so much knowledge and was engaging the entire time. He went out of his way to make great suggestions for the rest of our day! Thank you!!
Awesome. Loved every minute of it. Our tour guide Ree Ree was beyond exceptional. Thank you Ree... Loved the headset, that is a great touch. Bravo to whomever came up with an idea...
Great experience. We wanted to try the hiking tour since we are not experienced hikers. And learning so much about the history, nature and wildlife made the trip so much more rewarding. We lucked out and got a personal tour just the two of us and Scott who is a seasoned guide and driver. Very bumpy ride but it was tons of fun! I recommend!
Tour was good overall - views were great and Pete worked well with a diverse group with 2 of 5 of us being slower than average. I know it made pacing really hard.
We loved our tour! Randy was a great guide, we saw some amazing views, and we learned a lot!
It was like a private tour; my son, myself and Christen - AMAZING! She personalized it, asked our comfort level of off-roading and hiking then ramped it up to our liking. Smart, fun and open-communicator - she created the perfect experience for our mother/son bonding trip. Christen ROCKS! Thank you!
We loved it! Dan was fantastic!
